Once again, all of Michiana is under an Air Quality Alert and will be until the end of the day today. Conditions will be similar to yesterday, slightly warmer however, with impacted air quality values. Thankfully overnight most of this smoke is going to be clearing with a wind shift and another dominant airmass taking its place. This new airmass will have some humid conditions, and with temperatures heating up, chances for isolated afternoon storms increase Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures get into the upper 80s in the back half of the week. The 90s have the highest potential of returning on Saturday before our best widespread rain chance starts on Sunday. Likely Monday will see the most of this rain, though precipitation chances remain elevated through next Tuesday. Cooling into the middle of next week.
Today: Still smoky, hot. High 84
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 64.
Wednesday: Some clouds, less smoke. High 86.
Thursday: Continuing to heat up, humid. High 87.
