ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Having a seizure in public can be a difficult and alienating experience for anyone. And it's only made worse when those around you don't know how to handle it.
Granger student and Miss America titleholder, Bella Bauer, had her first seizure while at school and shares that sentiment.
Now she visits local schools to share her experience, and help classrooms become prepared to handle epilepsy.
Bauer goes back on the record today to share how students and teachers react to these lessons.
