Officials with Goshen Community Schools provide update on meal schedule, eLearning

Goshen Community Schools provided an update to the meal distribution locations and the eLearning schedule following spring break.

Instead of buses delivering lunches, the district will now be offering lunches at 10 locations on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. between April 14 and May 21.

On Tuesdays students (or anyone age 1–18 years) will receive two breakfasts and two lunches; on Thursdays, participants will receive three breakfasts and three lunches.

Locations for food distribution:

• West Goshen School, Parking Lot
• Chamberlain School, Parking Lot
• College Mennonite Church, in the southernmost part of the parking lot south of the church
• Faith Lutheran Church, Parking Lot
• Grace Community Church, Parking Lot
• Brookside Manor, in the parking lot behind the pool
• Roxbury Park, at the office where mailboxes are located
• Twin Pines, at the drive by the front office
• Winchester Trails, at the main parking area by the front entrance. (Do not block mailboxes)
• Skyview, small parking area by the playground

e-learning will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from April 13–May 22, 2020 in order to reach the 160-day instructional requirement set by the Indiana Department of Education.

Although most staff members are working remotely, the phone at the Administration Center is answered Monday-Friday from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. You may leave a message at 574-533-8631 and may expect a return call within 24 hours.

Entrega de alimentos y aprendizaje virtual de la Corporación Escolar de Goshen después de las vacaciones de primavera

La Corporación Escolar de Goshen estará entregando comida en diez ubicaciones los martes y jueves, de 11:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. del 14 de abril al 21 de mayo de 2020.
