Officials investigating cause of fire on Brightlingsea Place

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—Officials are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out on Monday night.
Firefighters were called to a structure fire in the 18000 block of Brightlingsea Place around 10:40 p.m. on Monday.
Units arrived to find smoke coming from the attic above the garage.
The fire was put out and all residents were able to get out of the structure.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Community Risk Reduction Division.
