Notre Dame Vs. Georgia: September 21, 2019

ATHENS, Ga. -- The Notre Dame game against the Georgia Bulldogs is underway with the Fighting Irish hoping to beat Georgia after a one point loss back in 2017.

Both teams are undefeated, with the Irish winning 66-14 at last week's home opener against New Mexico. 

Scoring Updates/Final Results: 

At the end of the First Quarter, both teams did not score despite some intense plays. 

In the Second Quarter the Irish score first with a 1-yard pass from Quarterback Ian Book to Cole Kmet. Irish lead 7-0.

Georgia scores with a 3-yard run from D'Andre Swift. Bulldogs tie up the game 7-7. 

Notre Dame's Johnathan Doerer kicks a 27-yard field goal at the end of the first half. Notre Dame is up 10-7.

The Bulldogs are up in the Third Quarter with a 40-yard field goal from Rodrigo Blankenship. Georgia ties Notre Dame 10-10. 

Rodrigo Blankenship follows up with another successful 31-yard field goal for Georgia. Bulldogs lead 10-13. 

Georgia's Jake Fromm scores a touchdown in the Fourth Quarter with a 15-yard pass to Lawrence Cager. Bulldogs still lead 10-20. 

Rodrigo Blankenship lands a 43-yard field goal for Georgia in the middle of the Fourth Quarter. Bulldogs are up 10-23. 

Notre Dame scores a touchdown with Chase Claypool receiving a 4-yard pass from Ian Book. Bulldogs still lead 17-23.

The Georgia Bulldogs win the game with a final score of 17-23 against Notre Dame.
