Notre Dame players collect numerous accolades this week as team rides 15-game win streak
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame Women's Basketball team has been on a tear since losing two games in the Caymen Islands Classic back in November, but they seemed to have reached an extra gear in February, winning their last three games by a combined score of 262-179.
Most recently, on Thursday, the nation's AP No. 3 team improved their record to 20-2 on the year and 11-0 in the ACC, defeating Stanford, 96-47, and handing the Cardinal their largest loss in women's basketball history.
Hannah Hidalgo led the Irish with 24 points, going 9 of 10 from the field to close out the game. Star teammate Olivia Miles had another 20-point game with four 3-pointers, seven boards and four assists.
Standout transfer student Liatu King had eight points, eight rebounds and five steals.
On top of team success, Hidalgo, Miles, and others are earning individual accolades for their accomplishments so far this season.

After suffering a torn ACL in February 2023, Miles has returned and is having her best season, averaging 16.4 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game.
