SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Notre Dame Women's basketball team welcomed North Carolina tar heels to Purcell Pavillion on Sunday.
Former head coach, Muffet McGraw, and the 2001 national championship team witnessed a complete performance by guard Hannah Hidalgo.
Hidalgo scored the game high with 31 points, seven rebounds, and six assists.
The Irish received the win with a final score of 73 to 50.
Head coach Nielle Ivy, who was on the 2001 team, talked post-game about coaching in front of her old teammates.
