Vehicle slide-off knocks out power in multiple counties

ABC 57 According to the Bremen Police Department, a vehicle slide-off that damaged a utility pole Saturday morning led to the more than 1,000 customers being left without power across multiple counties.
The widespread outage includes parts of Marshall and Elkhart counties, with Nappanee reporting more than 1,500 NIPSCO customers without power.
Police say NIPSCO is aware of the issue and working to restore power throughout the area.
Bremen police also report that they're dealing with ongoing internet issues that are affecting their phone services.
