GOSHEN, Ind. -- Crossroads Community Church in Goshen joined in on a worldwide event Friday evening, hosting a “Night to Shine” prom. The prom night is for those ages 14 and up in the special needs or disabled community. The Tim Tebow foundation sponsors the event, while churches around the globe host the celebration on the Friday before Valentine’s Day.
In Goshen, Crossroads Community Church worked with church members and volunteers to go all-out, with a red-carpet announcement, hair and makeup glam stations, and even Palmer Funeral Homes helping out with limo rides.
They also crowned each honored prom guest as king and queen, making sure everyone felt celebrated and loved.
“The limo was totally the best… I will definitely have the best night ever,” said Elise, a prom attendee.
