Vehicle crashes into utility pole at intersection of S.R. 19 and Quail Ridge Drive

ABC 57 ELKHART, Ind. -- At approximately 6:39 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, officers responded to a crash near the intersection of S.R. 19 and Quail Ridge Drive.
A 2011 Nissan Altima was traveling northbound on S.R. 19 when the driver drove off the roadway for an unknown reason into a utility pole.
The driver was transported to Memorial Hospital for a head injury.
The crash is still under investigation by the Elkhart County Crash Investigation team.
