ATHENS, Ga. - Walking off the field at Georgia's Sanford Stadium, Notre Dame football could only dwell on the opportunity missed. Despite a late bid to steal a victory, the seventh-ranked Irish were unable to overcome a rocky third quarter and penalties throughout, ultimately falling 23-17 to the third-ranked Bulldogs.
