National Voter Registration Day is September 20
Tuesday is National Voter Registration Day, a day to celebrate democracy and encourage first-time voters to register.
“Government works best when its citizens are active and engaged,” said Secretary of State Holli Sullivan. “I encourage all Hoosiers to use this day to make sure they are registered and that their voter information is up to date. Registering only takes a few minutes and can be done online at any time.”
Indiana citizens can register to vote here.
Citizens can also submit an application to register in person at a local county clerk's office.
Existing voters can use the website to update their information, look up their polling place, and more.
Indiana's voter registration deadline is October 11.
