National drug take back event on Saturday
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.- The 24th national "Prescription Drug Take Back" initiative will take place Saturday, April 22 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. all across the state of Indiana.
Indiana State Police (ISP) are partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to set up collection sites throughout the Hoosier state for this free and anonymous service.
Expired, unused and unwanted prescription medications, in both liquid and pill forms, will be properly disposed of without any threats to public safety or the environment.
The event will also accept vaping pens without batteries and vaping cartridges at the collection sites.
