Nappanee Police hosts free 'Camp Hero' for kids

NAPPANEE, Ind. - The Nappanee Police Department is hosting "Camp Hero," a free hands-on camp for children ages eight to 13.

Kids will learn about various emergency response fields with the police.

The camp instructor will be Kris Hershberger.

The camp will take place at Woodview Elementary School located at 755 E Woodview Dr. in Nappanee.

The deadline for registration is June 15, and you can register your child here.

Organizers say this camp is not gender specific.

There are three days available to register for, including June 19, 20, and 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
