Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in two rounds today with a few isolated showers sandwiched between. The first round of storms will enter our area early this morning and conclude around 8/9 AM EDT with heavy rain likely within thunderstorm cells. The late morning/early afternoon hours will see a few isolated showers, primarily in the southern half of Michiana. A few more non-severe scattered storms develop around 2 PM EDT and last through the evening commute with minimal impacts expected. Warm and humid weather is expected otherwise with highs in the mid 80s today and lows near 70 degrees tonight. Saturday shows renewed chances for scattered thunderstorms in the early morning and once again in the afternoon wit highs in the mid 80s. Sunday is mainly dry and back to near 90 degrees.
