Motorcycle crash turns deadly for victims

ELKHART, Ind. – A crash involving a motorcycle and a Jeep Cherokee on Thursday morning sent two people to the hospital. The incident happened on Cassopolis street at 8 a.m. when the Jeep pulled out from a parking lot and hit the motorcycle.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were both sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but sadly were later pronounced deceased.
The driver was 22-year-old Justin Walker of South Bend, and the passenger was 30-year-old Courtney Short of Elhart.
The driver of the Jeep was uninjured and cooperated with police.
