From just above average today to the 80s later this week
Dense fog is developing across central and western Michiana early this morning as dewpoints sit in the low 70s. Conditions out the door will feel stuffy over the next few hours, but scattered showers and storms later this morning will temporarily relieve some from the humidity. Most rain chances stay contained north of US-30 through today, but showers south of the route are possible as well. The best chance for thunderstorms will come in two waves: the first after sunrise and the second in the afternoon. Severe weather is unlikely, but a few strong storms may develop with strong wind gusts and heavy rain. As a cold front moves through the afternoon, temperatures and humidity fall through the week. Lows bottom out in the upper 50s with dewpoints feeling considerably less steamy. Seasonable weather right around 80F hovers over the area the rest of the week with mostly sunny skies into the weekend.
Today: Scattered thunderstorms. High 81.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 59.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny. High 78.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 79.
