UPDATE 6:51 p.m.: Investigators tell ABC57 news that the incident is being investigated as an accidental death.

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Police Department confirmed to ABC57 that officers and members of the Mishawaka Fire Department responded to Discount Tire on Grape Road around 5:02 p.m., Wednesday.

Police say they're investigating the death of a man, yet to be identified. Dispatch confirmed the man suffered a self-inflicted gunshot, but additional details haven't been released at this time.

Authorities say this occurred in a closed office adjacent to the business' lobby.

It's being called an isolated incident with no danger to the community.
