Mishawaka intersection closed for next few months for improvements
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced Thursday morning that the intersection of S. Wells Street and Seventh Street will be closed starting today for utility and right-of-way improvements.
"This will be Phase 1 of several subsequent phases of construction thru 2024," said Mishawaka's Permit Coordinator, Andrew Miner. "Weather permitting, this closure is expected to remain in place until Friday, June 28th."
The city says barricades and signage will be in place during this closure and drivers are asked to use caution around crews working in the area.
"Updates regarding this project will be sent as construction phasing progresses," said Miner. "Questions regarding this work may be directed to Brian Hartline of John Boettcher Sewer and Excavating at (574)259-1418."
Mishawaka has an interactive map of all road closures and lane restrictions on their website.
