ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. - The St. Joseph County's office is participating in "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" to decrease impaired driving.
Deputies will be removing impaired drivers from the road and keeping a look out for motorists under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
If you plan on drinking, read through the ABCs of BAC (Blood Alcohol Content).
In Michigan, it's illegal to drive with a BAC of .08 or higher, although motorists can be arrested if they have a BAC of any level if the officer believes they are impaired.
The enforcement period will occur from August 10 through September 4, 2023.
