Michigan trout season set to begin April 27

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- Michigan's Department of Natural Resources announces the upcoming start of trout season, set to begin on April 27.

Anglers across the state are cautioned to begin making plans in order to avoid regulation and decontamination issues.

The department emphasizes the importance of remembering to make sure that you have your fishing license before heading out on the water.
