ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- The United Way of Southwestern Michigan is set to receive a $67,000 grant from the Michigan Health Endowment Fund.
Money from the grant will be used to help create community groups in order to start a conversation about health challenges.
According to United Way, their main goal is to ensure that people of all backgrounds have a voice on community initiatives.
United Way of Southwestern Michigan is just one of 57 total nonprofits that is receiving funds.
