Michigan City Police Department presents Black Cinema Night

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - - Michigan City Police are encouraging everybody to come out and enjoy a movie night as they celebrate, honor and explore powerful African American driven films in honor of Black History Month.

There will be three days of movies spanning three weeks. The dates being Thursday February 13, 20 and 27. All films will begin at 5:30 p.m. and end around 7:30 p.m.

They will be showing the following films in order by date: Red Tails, The Six Triple Eight, as well as Black Patriots: Buffalo Soldiers. 

This event is free and open to the public, no registration or tickets required. It will be taking place at the Community Room located inside of the Michigan City Police Department.
