Search for the North American Beaver at Ox Bow County Park

ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart County Parks is introducing the public to the North American Beaver through taxidermy and a hike beginning Friday, June 27 at 9 p.m.
The North American Beaver is the largest rodent in North America.
After the showing of the North American Beaver, get ready for a hike venturing down to try and spot the animal.
The hike involves walking to a beaver lodge to understand how they are constructed.
Binoculars and dressing for a hike is recommended.
The program is free but there is a $3 vehicle fee to enter the park.
Meet at the Black maple Shelter in Ox Bow County Park located at 23033 C.R. 45 in Dunlap.
Registration is required by visiting the Elkhart County Park website.
