Michigan City Parks and Rec hosts 'Death of a Gangster' murder mystery dinner

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - The Michigan City Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to attend a murder mystery dinner, themed as "Death of a Gangster", at Krueger Memorial Hall on May 24,

Tickets are $60 per person 21 and up and can be purchased here. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. 

Travel back in time 100 years and dress in 1920s attire, to the era of prohibition, speakeasies, and mobsters.

Organizers say attendees should expect an evening filled with intrigue, suspense, and delicious food.

Flapper dresses, zoot suits, feather boas and headbands, pinstriped suits, and fedoras are all appropriate.

There will also be a cash bar.

The storyline for the event involves the wedding of a couple from two mob families. The merging of the two is sure to leave one without power or even dead.

You'll also have the chance to solve the murder mystery, so keep your eyes open for clues, interrogate suspects, and see if you can crack the case.

Krueger Memorial Hall is located at Liberty Trail in Michigan City.
