ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The biggest fundraiser of the year for Michiana Crime Stoppers is coming early next month and organizers are getting the word out early.

The Michiana Crime Stoppers Spring Shredding Event will take place at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds on Saturday, May 3 from 8 a.m. to noon.

"For a minimum donation of $20, our community can stop by and drop off any unwanted/sensitive documents to be securely shredded by Integra," organizers said.

The event will take place, rain or shine, but is a drive-thru setup where guests don’t have to get out of their car.

"This has become one of the biggest shredding events in Michiana and is a great way for people to clear out after tax season and to get a jump-start on spring cleaning," organizers said.
