City of Goshen set to host International Women’s Day Luncheon
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide unit is investigating a shooting on the 1700 block of Woodmont Drive in South Bend.
The call came in at 1:57 a.m. for a welfare check after a passerby saw a young man on the ground, according to St. Joseph Metro Homicide Commander Mike Grzegorek. When officers arrived on the scene, they found the individual was no longer alive.
Investigators have identified 18-year-old Jason Lottie as the individual who was shot and killed.
Investigators say the man has a gunshot wound, but would not say where the gunshot wound is located on the body.
There are no known suspects at this time.
