Indiana State Treasurer visits South Bend
MISHAWAKA, Ind. — The St. Joseph Count Metro Homicide Unit is investigating a deadly shooting after reports of shots fired in Mishawaka.
Officials were called out to 114 South Roosevelt Avenue just before 11:30 Friday night.
According to St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit, 28-year-old Ryan Serafino and 28-year-old Brandon Stahl were both shot at least once.
Paramedics transported Serafino to Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Stahl is currently listed in critical condition.
Officials believe Stahl and Serafino were shooting at each other during an altercation inside the home.
No one is in custody.
