Saturday the South Bend Kroc Center held a Miss Indiana send-off party for Tetrick and Connor, where they were able to meet community members, and preview their talents and dresses they will be competing with at the competition.
"I'm so grateful to everyone who came to support me at my send-off," shared Tetrick. "It meant a lot to practice in front of an audience before I go for the real competition. I have so many supporters, especially everyone at the Kroc Center, for letting me use their beautiful space for this event."
When asked what she's most looking forward to next week, Maci said, "During Miss Indiana week, I'm really excited to be fully immersed in the pageant. When we check in at the start of the week, we go on 'Miss Indiana time' and we are around all the other contestants around the clock. We stay in the dorms at Butler University during the week, and each morning we eat in the dining court, so it is fun to relive college just a little bit. Last year we met Butler Blue, and I'm hoping we run into him again on campus. He is so cute and a big stress relief during the competition week."
"Miss Maci's" last day on-air with ABC57 before she makes her way to the Miss Indiana competition will be June 8. If you would like to send her well-wishes, visit ABC57's Facebook page.
