SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame guard Markus Burton announced on Instagram Thursday that he is going to enter the NBA Draft while keeping his eligibility with Notre Dame.
Burton was named ACC Rookie of the Year, averaging 17.5 ppg, 4.8 assists, and 2.2 steals in the 2023-24 season. He also broke the Notre Dame freshmen scoring record with 535 points on the year.
According to Burton's father (Markus Burton Sr), the guard has until June 17 to make his decision to come back to Notre Dame or continue with the NBA draft process.
