Man who molested 5-year-old girl using copycat game sentenced to 5 years

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A 20-year-old man accused of molesting a 5-year-old girl using the copycat game was sentenced to five years in prison for one count of child molestation.

Jared Gorby, 20, was sentenced to 9 years in prison with 4 years suspended. Once he is released from custody he must serve four years sex offender probation.

The victim told investigators Gorby played the copycat game with her and asked her to do things that made her upset, according to court records.

Gorby showed the victim a video and told her they had to copy everything "Anna and Elsa" did on the video, reports said.

She told investigators one of the things Anna and Elsa did she wasn't okay with, reports said.
