Caracas Bistro is set to open a new location in Elkhart

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Venezuelan restaurant Caracas Bistro has been open for 10 years and will now open a second location in Elkhart.

The owners explained how they wanted to reach more of the Latin community in Elkhart and Goshen.

"I would like the people feel like you you're in Venezuela, so it's part of our vision. So, when you come into the restaurant, you feel a little bit in Venezuela and try our dishes, our drink, all our food," said Rafel Valecillos, owner of Caracas Bistro

The newest addition to the restaurant will be a bar so anyone can enjoy specially drinks from Venezuela, " The newest addition to the restaurant will be a bar so anyone can enjoy specially drinks from Venezuela," said Valencillos.

"I am grateful with the people who are in charge of this place for giving me the opportunity to work for them and, you know, to be part of this of this family that we are, because this place is a family and we dedicated ourselves to make every single family in not only this area, but all around this place, every single people who come here to have a good time," said Benjamin Herrera a waiter at Caracas Bistro.

Preparations are still underway with plans to have it officially open by mid-October.
