KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is reporting that a man has died following a boating accident that happened around 6 p.m. Saturday in Lake Wawasee.

The man who was struck by the boat has been identified as 20-year-old Nathaniel Mroz of Fortville, Indiana.

Officers say that three people who were being pulled behind the boat in a tube were thrown off the tube and into the water.

As the boat was maneuvering to retrieve them, Mroz was struck by it.

Mroz was removed from the water by the occupants of the boat. He was later pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.

Everyone involved is cooperating in the investigation.

Mroz was wearing a life-jacket at the time of the accident.
