SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Bremen Public Schools told ABC 57 they do not have any formal DEI programs in place, but did still have questions after the Department of Education launched a first of its kind online portal aimed to take complaints on DEI programs, that the Trump Administration deems ‘discriminatory’.
“No not really, I think I’m more concerned locally at the state level, because the parties at rule right now are really pushing hard, the budget seems to be tight,” said Jim White the Superintendent of Bremen Schools.
ABC57 also reached out to South Bend, Elkhart, School City of Mishawaka, and the State Department of Education for comment and did not receive a response.
