Indiana and Michigan Red Cross sent volunteers to help the flooding victims in Texas.
Indiana Red Cross sent 40 volunteers and six emergency vehicles to help the Hurricane Harvey victims.
Michigan Red Cross sent 20 volunteers with trailers full of food and supplies to help more than 20,000 people.
To find out ways to volunteer locally, Red Cross says call 1-888-684-1441.
To help people affected by Hurricane Harvey by visiting redcross.org, calling 1-800-RED CROSS or texting the word HARVEY to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
Red Cross says the donations help them prepare for, respond to and help people recover from this disaster.
