ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- An Osceola family became victim to a contractor who took $55,000 meant to rebuild their home back in 2021.
Tameka Pittman and Paul Franklin lost their home to a fire on November 5, 2019. They've been living out of hotels and their vehicle since.
ABC57 told the family's story back on May 11.
Now local contractors are coming together looking to get the job started. One contractor has been actively recruiting local builders and even started a Go Fund Me page.
Stay with ABC57 as we continue to follow developments on the family's situation.
