Last dry day of the week is TODAY

Fog and overcast skies continue the dreary weather this week through the first half of today. Drier air and slightly higher pressure will erode cloud cover in the afternoon and evening, allowing sunnier skies and highs in the mid to upper 40s. Lows bottom out near the mid 30s amidst partly cloudy weather tonight. Thursday starts off quietly and near 40s degrees, but a quick warm up across the area places Michiana comfortably in the upper 50s ahead of an impending warm front. The frontal boundary helps generate widespread showers tomorrow evening with even heavier rain slated for the overnight period heading into Friday. Our last day of the week is hit or miss in terms of rain, but you should plan on generally mild and soggy conditions during the daytime. Saturday's forecast is dominated by a cold front and separate low pressure system, dropping highs from the 50s to the 40s and bringing in a rain/snow mix for most of the day.

Today: AM clouds, PM sun. High 46.

Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 36.

Thursday: PM rain. High 57.

Friday: Showers. High 52.
