LaPorte County Family YMCA holding an Easter adventure for families

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. – The LaPorte County Family YMCA announced on Facebook two Easter events for an underwater Easter egg hunt.

The first of the events will be held Saturday, March 27 at the LaPorte YMCA Branch on 2510 Monroe Street from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The second will be held Thursday, April 1 at the Michigan City Elston YMCA Branch on 1202 Spring Street from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Both events are free to the public.

Each child will receive a goody bag and the opportunity to take an underwater photo or a photo with the Easter Bunny.

Golden eggs will be hidden in the event, and if found you may win a special prize.

Swim tests will be required for all children wishing to swim without a parent 30 minutes prior to the start of each event, and each participant must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian prior to the event.
