Lane closures for Bertrand Road construction begin May 27

Berrien County Road Department BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Road Department announced Bertrand Road will have intermittent lane closures between US 31 and Red Bud Trail starting on May 27.
Officials say the improvement project will include roadway widening prior to resurfacing with a two-inch asphalt overlay.
Traffic will be maintained by flaggers.
Motorists should expect travel delays and stopping should be expected.
The work is expected to last three weeks.
