SAWYER, Mich. - A popular event for wine lovers in Southwest Michigan is undergoing a big change this weekend.
The Lake Michigan Shore Wine fest is moving.
It had been held at Weko Beach in Bridgman.
But now it will be held at Warren Dunes State Park Saturday from 1 p.m. until sundown.
Organizers say the move is because of the event's growing popularity.
They also say it's due to the increasing number of wineries in the area.
22 wineries are now involved in the Lake Michigan Wine Trail.
"We were getting a little crowded where we were so we've got a lot more space now and another great things is in the past you had to shuttle in and now you can drive right in and take your own parking spot," says Scott Soethe of Lemon Creek Winery.
Along with wine, you can also enjoy food and live music.
