Lake Michigan College to host Women’s Health Roundtable Discussion

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Lake Michigan College invites the community to come out and attend their annual Women’s Health Roundtable on March 4. 

According to the Lake Michigan College press report "Women make up more than half of the population, yet their specialized health needs are often overlooked. Despite growing attention, health care disparities continue to exist. A panel of local health experts will discuss their thoughts on the most important issues related to women’s health and how these can be addressed in 2025."

This event will take place March 4 at 1:30 p.m. in the Main Academic Building, Room L-310/311, on the college’s Benton Harbor campus. It is free and open to the public with no tickets or RSVPs required.

The four female panelists that have been invited include Lake Michigan College Nursing Program Instructor Dana Jenkins, Retired Medical Doctor and Founder of NPK Health Integration Nadine Pierre Kelly, Concierge Occupational Therapist and Founder of Health Elevated Amy Underwood as well as Founder, Doula, and Lactation Specialist Tameka White.
