LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department investigating recent burglaries

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. – The La Grange County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of antiques and other items from a residence in the area of 1100 East and 300 N.

Deputies received a call at 11:40 p.m. about a trailer with a John Deere Gator parked on it.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they located and recovered both the trailer and the Gator.

Upon further investigation, they discovered that the residence and several outbuildings had been burglarized, deputies said.

Items taken include antiques, antique hand tools, two go-carts, an aluminum boat, a large church bell, an antique Ford sign, and other memorabilia.
