Kosciusko County Health Department will begin administering COVID-19 vaccine

KOSCIUSKCO COUNTY, Ind. – Kosciusko County Health Department is scheduling appointments to administer the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible recipients.

Those who are eligible include individuals who are 80-years-old and older, and licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers and first responders who have face-to-face interactions with patients - or infectious material -  or work in a public-facing position that requires in-person contact.

Vaccinations will begin on January 11, 2021.

All qualified vaccine recipients may register beginning Friday January 8, 2021 at 9 a.m.

Qualified recipients may register by calling 2-1-1 or by visiting www.ourshot.in.gov

Vaccinations will be given at the K21 Health Services Pavilion on KCH Campus at 1515 Provident Dr. in Warsaw.

Due to a limited supply, the vaccine is available by appointment only to those currently eligible as determined by the Indiana Department of Health.

There is no cost to the individual, but insurance may be charged an administration fee.

The Health Department is requiring all potential-recipients to bring a photo ID, proof of age, verification of current employments as a healthcare worker or first responder in Indiana and an insurance card if you have one.
