Knox man injured during morning hunting accident

KNOX, Ind. -- A man from Knox was injured Sunday morning during a hunting accident.

While duck hunting on Lake Maxinkuckee, 34-year-old Jason Steiner's muzzle got caught in the camo netting they used for their boat blind. 

When he tried to untangle his gun it went off shooting him in his left hand.  A part of his left index finger was shot off.

He was taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth and was listed in good condition.
