SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The 16th annual Kids to Parks Day celebration is coming back to South Bend on Saturday for a round of family-friendly fun to encourage children to play outside.

In an announcement from South Bend Venues Parks & Arts, the Kids to Parks Day celebration taking place from noon to 2 p.m. at Rum Village Nature Center and Boehm Park.

Kids to Parks Day is a national initiative in partnership with the National Park Trust for encouraging outdoor play with family-friendly activities geared towards those between ages 3 and 12.
