BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Sheriff's Office announced that they celebrated the retirement of K9 Thor at the Berrien County Commission meeting recently.

The BCSO also recognized Thor's handler, Deputy Matt Grimm, for his dedication and the sacrifices he made during his time with him.

The Berrien County Michigan - Government posted the following statement:

"Congratulations on your retirement Thor! May retirement be filled with lots of joy, your favorite Kong toys, and many well-earned naps in the sunshine. We are so grateful to you and Deputy Grimm for your incredible service and partnership!"
