Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love embraces ‘anywhere’ mindset as NFL Combine workouts begin
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs are set to take the field from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the NFL scouting combine inside Lucas Oil Stadium, where several prospects with Notre Dame and Indiana ties will go through on-field drills.
Among them is Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love, who met with media Friday and declined to hint at a preferred NFL destination.
“I feel like I fit in anywhere,” Love said. “Looking forward to going anywhere. I’m willing to do anything for any team to have success.”
Love is scheduled to participate in the 40-yard dash and position drills. Scouts believe he could run in the 4.3-second range, a time that would likely boost his draft stock.
Draft projections for Love vary widely. Some mock drafts list him as a top five selection, while others project him anywhere from No. 10 to No. 16 overall. As of Friday, Love said he had met formally and informally with at least 10 teams.
Teams Love confirmed meetings which include the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants.
Kansas City could be a team to watch. The Chiefs are looking to improve their rushing attack following a disappointing 2025 season, and Love’s speed and versatility could make him an attractive option. Plus, he has previously said that Patrick Mahomes is his favorite quarterback.
Still, Love made clear his focus remains on performance rather than preference.
