KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- The Indiana State Police report, at the request of the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office and the Mentone Police Department, they are investigating a pursuit which ended in a fatal single-vehicle crash.

A preliminary investigation by authorities indicates Sunday, just after midnight, the Mentone Town Marshal was patrolling S.R. 25 near Princeton Street in Mentone, when the marshal attempted to stop a 2010 Chevy Impala for speeding.
