The heat wave is underway, and it will continue this entire week. For tonight though, there is a chance of rain and storms in the Michigan counties between 10p and 4a. Severe weather is unlikely, but there is the chance of gusty winds and heavy, localized rainfall. Lows will stay muggy tonight in the low 70s under partly to mostly cloudy skies. Monday features the heat and humidity building with highs in the mid 90s with partly cloudy skies. It is possible a pop-up shower/storm could develop during the heat of the day, but leaving most of the area dry with only a 20% chance of rain. Similar conditions are expected on Tuesday, but just a tad cooler in the low 90s. The heat wave continues through this weekend until relief finally arrives next Monday- June 24th.
Tonight: Isolated storms, mostly in MI counties. Gusty winds and heavy rain possible. Low 73.
Monday: Partly cloudy, very hot and humid, pop-up PM shower. High 94.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy, hot and humid, pop-up PM shower. High 91.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, very hot and humid. High 94.
