INDOT hosting hiring events throughout area for seasonal positions

The Indiana Department of Transportation is hosting a Statewide Winter Seasonal Hiring Event on Thursday from 10 am to 3 pm local time.

INDOT staff will be on-site during this event to answer questions and provide more information about positions and careers.

Winter seasonal employment runs from November to March, with a starting pay of $20 an hour. INDOT offers a $250 sign-on bonus and a $500 retention bonus for eligible candidates.

Applicants for INDOT must have a valid commercial driver’s license. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.

Registration is not required, but applicants should apply online before attending.
